Cindy Thielmann 

Cindy is our principle photographer and fashion editor. She has been photographing professionally for 15 years and started the company Photogenesis2 Studio in 2002. Her extensive knowledge of lighting and creative eye has won her recognition, especially in the field of fashion and performing artist materials. Prior to her years of experience as a photographer, studio manager and lab technician in Kelowna, Cindy attended Northern Alberta Institute of Technology to study Applied Photography. She has the ability to capture mood, and bring out the best in her subjects, while helping them to relax and enjoy their session. Cindy enjoys both the planned studio set-ups AND photojournalistic shoots. “As a photographer, my studies never end. I am always looking for a fresh perspective and opportunities for travel.”

Jason Babakaiff

Jason is a young new photographer with an artistic eye and passion for creating the best photographs possible. He received top marks in his two semesters of photography in high school. He then took Digital Film at The Center for Arts and Technology - Okanagan (CATO). Jason has also worked as a photo lab technician at a reputable high-end photo lab in Kelowna for over three years. While doing this he has also studied under one of Vancouver’s most sought after architectural photographers now residing in Kelowna, Colin Jewall Photo Studios Inc.

Jason is also very keen on anything marketing - from brochures to out-door signage, even basic web building.

We are very excited to have Jason working with us at Photogenesis 2 Studio, because of his extensive knowledge in photo editing/retouching and use of equipment.

Our Goal

Both of your photographers make every effort to give you the best photography possible for least amount of money. We do this by knowing our equipment and every detail in the process of photography, from pre to post production. Film to photo paper, minilab to darkroom, professional photo software to the end result, you photos and your memories are in good hands.

Now that you know who we are, this is a little bit about where we’re going.
Photogenesis 2 Studio is looking at the big picture, and we know where we want to go. Currently we are working on building a strong repertoire in promotional photography from models, actors and bands, to product, corporate and architectural photography. We want people to know the value and professionalism of Photogenesis 2 Studio internationally.
